Bahruz Malikov

Bahruz Malik oghlu Malikov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of the public legal entity "State Civil Aviation Agency" under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 

Born in 1972, Bahruz Malik oghlu Malikov graduated from the Faculty of Air Transport Flight Operations of the National Aviation Academy in 1998. He holds a PhD in engineering.   

In 2000-2002, worked as a technician-weatherman at the "Azeraeronavigation" enterprise of the State Concern Azerbaijan Airlines; in 2002-2003, worked as an engineer at the "Bakiaeronavigation" meteorological radar of the "Azeraeronavigation" enterprise of the State Concern Azerbaijan Airlines, and in 2003-2009, worked as a leading engineer-meteorologist.  

From 2009 to 2018, was Deputy Chief of the Aviation Meteorological Center of the “Azeraeronavigation” Air Traffic Department of “Azerbaijan Airlines” CJSC, In 2018, worked as an engineer-inspector for Aeronautical Standards and Air Traffic Control (ANS) in the Aeronautical Standards and Air Traffic Control Department of the public legal entity "State Inspectorate for Flight Safety in Civil Aviation" under the State Civil Aviation Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan.  

From 2018 to 2023, worked as a Deputy Head of the Aerodrome Operators Supervision Authority (AGA) of the public legal entity "State Inspection for Civil Aviation Flight Safety" under the State Civil Aviation Agency, in 2023-2025  served as the Deputy Director of the "State Civil Aviation Agency", a public legal entity subordinate to the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 

Since 2025, he has been working as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the public legal entity "State Civil Aviation Agency".  

Bahruz Malikov is a member of the Supervisory Board of the public legal entity "Azerbaijan Transport and Communication Holding".
