Since 1926 when radio broadcasting and since 1956 when television broadcasting first began in Azerbaijan, the radio and television broadcasting infrastructure has been established throughout the country and has undergone great development over the past period, adapting to the requirements of modern standards.

Reliable and uninterrupted radio and television broadcasting infrastructure
An FM radio and DVB-T standard digital television broadcasting network established throughout the country with the application of the most modern technical equipment.
Currently, part of the country is provided with DAB+ standard digital radio broadcasting through stations located in the capital and Agsu.
Teleradio Production Union also provides satellite broadcasting and IPTV services.
We also look into the possibility of transitioning to a network based on second-generation (DVB-T2) technology in television broadcasting.
