Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company Closed Joint Stock Company (ASCO), one of the AZCON Holding companies, plays an active role in cargo transportation with its Marine Transport Fleet as a unique shipping company, and also provides various types of specialized offshore services for oil and gas projects with its Caspian Oil Fleet. The company also carries out cargo transportation in non-Caspian waters in various ship segments (Dry cargo, tanker, "Handysize", "Aframax").

Its history begins with the establishment of the "Caucasus and Mercury" Joint Stock Company in 1858. As the oldest operating company in the South Caucasus, ASCO's main mission is to meet the country's demand for shipping services in transit cargo transportation through Azerbaijan and in our republic's strategic oil and gas projects, to contribute to the state's policy in these areas, and to Azerbaijan's transformation into a regional transport and logistics hub.
ASCO constantly focuses on minimizing environmental impact, creating a safe working environment, and preventing risks in all aspects of its operations.
Its vision for the future is to establish a modern shipping company that operates efficiently, ensures sustainable development and safety of operations, and to further expand international shipping activities outside the Caspian Sea, while supporting state policy in the Caspian.
