Rashad Nabiyev

Rashad Nabi oglu Nabiyev was born in 1977. In 1994-2000, studied at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Public and Municipal Administration. In 2000-2002, earned a Master's degree in Economics from East Carolina University, USA.
In 1997-2000, worked at the Center of Information Resources and Technologies and the Department of Foreign Relations of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2002-2004, worked at the Market Operations Department of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In 2004-2011, headed the Department of Finance, Accounting and Economic Analysis of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies. He was appointed as the Chairman of Azercosmos OJSC by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated January 24, 2011.
In 2021 he was appointed Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Rashad Nabiyev was appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the public legal entity "Azerbaijan Transport and Communication Holding" by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated November 7, 2024.
