AZCON Holding Executive Director Shahin Babayev Meets With China’s COVEC Delegation

AZCON Holding Executive Director Shahin Babayev met with the delegation from China Overseas Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (COVEC), a company specializing in engineering and construction, led by its President, Wang Kun.

The meeting focused on Azerbaijan’s transit potential, the development of transport and logistics infrastructure, improvements in urban mobility, and the expansion of digital infrastructure.

The parties also discussed ongoing developments and projects related to the Baku Metro, the Port of Baku, the railway network, the modernization of the maritime fleet, and digital infrastructure.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on future cooperation in the transport and logistics sectors, as well as explore opportunities to strengthen Azerbaijan’s regional connectivity.
