AZCON Holding Executive Director Shahin Babayev Meets with CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Delegation

AZCON Holding Executive Director Shahin Babayev met with a delegation from China’s CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive, led by its Chairman, Wang Qiaolin, during the delegation’s visit to Azerbaijan.

The meeting focused on the current state of cooperation between AZCON Holding and its Chinese partners in the transport sector, as well as opportunities to further strengthen bilateral ties.

The signing of a contract between Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) and CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive for the supply of four electric passenger trains was highlighted as an important milestone in the partnership, creating new opportunities for future cooperation.

The parties also explored potential collaboration in the development of Azerbaijan’s transport and logistics infrastructure, the expansion of the railway network, and the implementation of tram and other urban mobility projects.

During the meeting, AZCON Holding’s management approach, upcoming projects in the transport sector, and strategic priorities aimed at strengthening Azerbaijan’s regional transport connectivity were also presented.
