Preparations for the launch of BakuBus in Ganja continue

BakuBus LLC, one of the AZCON Holding companies operating in the direction of high-quality and safe organization of public transport services, is continuing its preparatory work in a planned manner to provide passenger transportation services in the city of Ganja.  

Currently, the construction process of a new bus fleet complex that will operate in the city of Ganja is ongoing. This transportation infrastructure includes the main administrative building, auxiliary administrative building, technical inspection and repair center, car wash area, fuel filling station, transformer station, and boiler house building. The commissioning of the bus fleet, built in accordance with modern standards, will enable efficient management of public transport in the city of Ganja.  

The selection and preparation process for forming the driver team that will operate on the new routes is continuing. So far, nearly 900 applications have been received for the position of driver, and more than 600 candidates have participated in interviews. Currently, two training groups are operating for the professional training of the driver staff. One of the training courses is carried out in the theoretical phase, the other in the practical phase. In addition, necessary measures are being taken to form the administrative staff.  

Some of the modern and comfortable Yutong buses planned to be put into service in the city of Ganja have already been brought to the country. It is planned to deliver the buses to a new bus fleet in the city of Ganja in the coming days. The vehicles are expected to be put into operation on intra-city routes in September. Equipped with technical equipment that meets international standards, these buses will provide passengers with comfortable and high-quality public transportation services.  

It is planned that passengers will pay for their bus fare using a cashless payment system. This system will be implemented on all buses operating in the city of Ganja. 

It is noted that BakuBus LLC is expected to start operating in Ganja on intra-city routes No. 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and suburban routes No. G1 and G2.
